You Have To See Them!

Glass bead artist Amanda Cargill Austin resides in Florence, Oregon and It must be one inspiring place because she creates the most amazing, drool over them glass beads! She recently picked up a "Mermaid Tale" pendant from my etsy shop and was inspired to create a glass bead to match. I could live in the bead she created! It is beautirific! I had to make up a word, thats how pretty it is! She sells her beads and jewelry from her esty shop, so check her out!

Where have they been?

Some times I wonder, what happens to the pendants and beads when they leave here packed all snug and sound? What fate are they met with when they arrive at their new home? Are they loved? Are they played with? Are they and their new families happy? I will sometimes come across them, unexpectedly and happily when they have been transformed from simple clay pendants into another's creative dream...

This butterfly fluttered by way of rosemckaydesigns on her etsy shop

Laurel Moon Jewelry created this lovely set....

Live Wire Jewelry caught my eye with this simple and elegant design...

Jewels by Kat made this lovely bracelet...

Lorelei had a great post recently that paired her designs with clothes to inspire...

What's this blog about anyway?

I've been making and selling beads for the last 9 years and often I wonder.... Where do they go? How are they? Are they bringing joy and happiness? Sometimes lovely people will send me pictures of what they have created with the pendants and beads and it is great to see how creative and innovative people are! So with that in mind I created this blog! If you have made anything with my pendants, beads or buttons and would like to share your work please email me (gaea (at) gaea (dot) cc) with photos and any info about you or your work, even a link to where the item may be for sale (etsy, web, or other sale sites)

I love to know where they are and what they are up to!

Thanks! Gaea
